I am very happy to write a review on this particular motel called the Safari Motor Inn which is located at the entrance of the world famous Joshua Tree Monument. The Safari Motor Inn is THE BEST value that one could obtain in this area. I say this because the owner Ravi and his wonderful family fully understands the meaning of SERVICE and VALUE. The Safari Motor Inn is very clean and comfortable as well as a safe place for a family with children. The owners will always go out of their way to make sure you will have a very pleasant stay, and, as an extra bonus, suggest interesting places to visit, eat, and see while in the beautiful area of Joshua Tree, California. I highly recommend the Safari Motor Inn and give them not just 5 stars, but 10 !!!

I stayed at the Safari Motor Inn for one night on February 1, 2011. The rooms and the grounds were all neat and clean, and had everything that you would expect with a motel room. However, what really puts the Safari Motor Inn above the rest is the exceptional, personalized customer service that is all too rare these days. Ravi's entire attitude was "if you need anything, please ask" and he made it his business to always be available.

Been here many, many times and plan to continue coming Hi everyone. Business brings me to the area on an almost weekly basis and I was turned on to this place by a colleague who's also a regular guest here at the Safari Inn. The staff here is friendly, you get a nice, clean, cozy room with cable TV, a fridge, a microwave and a small coffee machine to help you wake up in the morning. And also a large clean swimming pool which is good to have.

Some of the best places to eat in the area are within 5 minutes, the crossroads cafe, a Thai Restaurant and Sam's Indian/Pizza/Burger restaurant, all of which I highly recommend. If you're feeling particularly frugal you can go to the Valero gas station just two blocks away which has a subway subs counter in the back of it's convenience store so you can take advantage of it's $5 footlong sub special.

There's free WiFi internet access in the rooms which is very convenient for me in the evening to check emails, for conducting stock research and to take care of other business. So if you're in the area and in need of a place to stay, come on by. It's quiet at night, no noise so you can be sure of enjoying a good night's sleep.

Good motel, nice staff, Home away from Home I agree with the other reviewers that this is a very nice property--clean, modern, and well-maintained, Great room, fantastic beds & nice swimming pool . Staff were also very friendly and helpful.... No complaints, All Great Here..... I have made a note to myself to look for this motel for future accomodation needs when travelling.

Good stay for good price It is really fine in this motel. Nice staff and rooms were tidy and spacious. Nobody should be afraid of staying here. And above all- it is few meters away from national park entrance.
